Funding entity ALCATEL ESPAÑA S.A.
This is a collaboration project between the University and ALCATEL ESPAÑA S.A. for the design, testing and analysis of the three-phase-inverter units to be used for the traction motors of a hybrid vehicle. This first prototype is going to be built with off-the-shelf devices. The power electronics will be water cooled.
The design of the power electronics will be carried out by ALCATEL ESPAÑA S.A. with the help of the University team. The test rig for experimental validation will be built at the Electrical Drive Laboratory of the University. The electronics cooling system will be desing by the University team.
